Hi, I’m Rachel, the owner of Sit and Stay with Rachel.
I’m a San Diego native living in beautiful Pacific Beach, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, llamas, geese, chickens, and more, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages.
Pet sitting is my full-time career, and I balance it with the joy of raising my baby, so caring for families—whether two- or four-legged—is truly my life.
My goal is to provide 100% transparency, clear communication, and dependable care every time. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and working with educator e-collars/transmitters for training purposes. At home, I share life with a playful 10-month-old Belgian Malinois/Great Pyrenees mix, a sweet cat, my husband, and of course, my baby—so I understand the importance of keeping every family member safe and happy.

Hi! I’m Brianna, and I’ve always had animals in my life, from dogs and cats to chickens, gerbils, and hamsters. These days I share my home with my sweet cat Nala and my rambunctious dog, Oakley, who happily take over my bed every night, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, whether that means stopping by for daily check-ins, feeding, and walks, or welcoming their pets into my home while they’re away. I truly love it. Spending time with a fur baby feels like being the fun auntie, and I look forward to it every single time.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
We accept venmo, zelle, cash, or check
At Sit & Stay, there are no hidden fees—all prices listed above are accurate and final.
Once you book, we’ll confirm your services by the end of the day and send an invoice outlining everything included. Payment is due 48 hours before your first scheduled service.
Need to make a change? Just reach out as soon as possible so we can adjust your booking.
If you need to cancel, we offer a full refund with at least 24 hours’ notice, prior to the start of your first scheduled service. Cancellations made within 24 hours will receive a 50% refund.
Holiday bookings may require additional notice.
Visit Updates and Care Reports
We understand how hard it can be to leave your beloved family members at home, so our goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. During each visit, we’ll share photos or videos and keep you informed right away if any concerns come up. After your pets visit, you’ll receive a detailed report highlighting how your pet did while you were away.
